Doha: With the aim to encourage water polo among kids, Qatar Swimming Association opened a water polo training centre for youngsters.
The training center activities will kick off this Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Hamad Aquatic Centre.
On their official account on Twitter, Qatar Swimming stated that the aim is to attract more players to play the sport, adding that training sessions will be held between September and December to prepare them to represent Qatar in foreign tournaments in the upcoming future.

Hamad Aquatic Centre is a large swimming pool complex in Doha, Qatar. The centre is housed in the Doha Sports City complex along with other buildings dedicated to sports in Qatar including the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, the Aspire Tower, Khalifa International Stadium, and a training school called Aspire Academy.
